Had some fresh water in the bilge awhile ago and was unsure whether it was from snow or a leaking water tank. So, today I went to the boat to fill the empty tank to help isolate the issue. Filled the tank and did an inspection and no water was leaking from beneath the tank. Whew! The bilge pump works fine, so in a couple of weeks when I check the boat again, I'll see whether there is no more fresh water in the bilge. If so, well...

I should have added: Any that could be the source may not be directly over that area...water has a nasty habit of migrating from anywhere it can get in to anywhere else in the boat where it can get out. Best time to do this is after a heavy or all day rain...and look for any water stains in the headliner.

Filled the forward 65 gallon water tank two weeks ago. Just returned from our boat check. Bilge was dry as a bone. Woohoo! Still need to find the rain water leak. I have a suspect. Will keep you posted.
