Hello all, In my work around my boat, I am looking at a few part locations and was wondering what other P36-2's look like 1 - I was looking for the bolts that connect the strut to the boat....they should be under the fuel tank, which I can see by putting my head in the draw under the aft birth, However no bolts. Someone mentioned that the strut might be glassed on? 2 - Vented loop prior to mixing elbow. This should be 2 feet above water line and on or as close to center line as possible (so I am told). I have (now had) a bronze antisiphon valve (basic u with a valve stem) to the right of the engine up near the sink with a hose coming of the U valve that ran into the bilge. Is this the norm and is this high enough? Thanks as always! Greg P36-2 #101 Four the Soul

On my P38 last summer I had to remove the SS muffler because of a leak and found the bolts for the strut under that. The muffler was easy to remove, though heavy. The vented loop with anti-siphon was just about as you described it. I have replaced the 35hp Yanmar with a 3JHE (40hp) and the mechanics put in a new anti-siphon as high in the compartment as they could. Bill
