I have always been fearfull of striking the exposed rudder on our P 36-2 and bending the rudder post or breaking the fiberglass loose from the internal supporting web. (This should be an unfounded fear as we have been cruising in this boat now for the past twenty three years and have not hit anything). A rudder fabricator was mentioned in another thread here and I have noted them here for future referance for other Pearson owners that may be in need of a new rudder.

Thanks Dave! As always great information..... On the subject of rudder, have you ever had to replace the bushings on the post?

Greg

Ps hope the off season is going good on land! Any plans for New England next summer?
