Hello,

I would like to change the hull liner on my Hunter 356 and the store here is currently out of stock and has been for sometime. Does anybody know where I can source an equivalent?

Hi, looking for the vinyl material for the hull sides with the foam backing. It is in the vberth and aft cabin on the 356. Not sure my wife would approve of a checkered flag as decoration :)

Sorry, but got fixated on exterior hull.

I had a problem in the rear cabin about 19 years ago and removed the interior vinyl liner which was spot glued in places. Got it from Amazon.ca.

It was approx.1/4" thick light foam, light off white vinyl liner and was a perfect match to what was already in place. Maybe worth a try.

Do a web search for "foam backed marine vinyl fabric liner"

Sailrite sells it and has videos on how to make templates, cut and install it.

Upholstery fabric supply shops sell foam backed vinyl fabric. It's not a marine specific product. Just make sure it's flame retardant

All you need is a sample to match your existing one, or just install something complimentary to what your boat interior looks like. Just like choosing wallpaper or paint.

Here's an example

You might hate me for suggesting this.
I really disliked the foam wall covering.
Kept putting off a solution
Didn’t know what to do, so I just took a sharp knife, and slashed a huge “X” across the middle.
Now, I had more motivation
I put in ash planking, which looks anaxing
I posted a whole document on how to do this.
It’s a bit challenging, but 100% worth it.
