Just an FYI for those looking to clean up the oxidation on the hull. 1. Wash boat 2. Use 600 grit wet sandpaper to remove oxidation down to the gelcoat. Careful not to sand into the gelcoat. 3. Use Bonami (79 cents in grocery store) rather than rubbing compound. Keep rag wet, cleaning up any left over oxidation. 4. Apply a good hull polish 5. Finish with a good wax (Treewax) I just finished my Catalina 27 after taking it out of the water. Results were excellent.
