Hi All -I am almost done with my mast restoration project on my '78 Catalina 30. The job came out nice: Rewired the mast, painted the mast and boom w/ Imron, replaced standing rigging and moves my external halyards - internal. One thing I am noticing though before I close things up and get the mast back to the boat for stepping: the inside of the mast has a noticeable amount of oxidation that seems to be getting on my now internal halyards.Any ideas/solutions as to how I could keep my halyards clean? I am afraid that they are going to get coated with that grey-aluminum crud overtime. Thanks - Rob
