Owner's Manual for Hunter 29.5 *cry

I just bought a hunter 29.5 1995. It needed a new mast and standing rigging. The owner ordered a new Z-Spar mast Z401 instead of the ISOMAT one that was there before... I will need to do some creative adjustment to retrofit the mast. I need someone with the ISOMAT mast and someone with the Z-Spar mast to photocopy or scan the owner's manual or what ever you may have on the boat. I am looking for pictures of course of the rigging, spreaders and mast base to help me re-assemble the whole thing when it gets here in a box ( a very long box (-: ). Anyone done this before ?I will pay to have the photocopies sent by mail or you could email me a scanned copy of any instructions or manual on this boat.Mario and Sylvie

I have the Zspar with two spreaders. I know there is a one spreader version and that might be the Isomat but I'm not an expert. My advice would be to contact Mike Thomas at Hunter. He is an excellent resource and can probably provide you with the correct specifications and a manual. I wouldn't get too creative at this point because you won't be happy with the performance unless the B&R rig is installed correctly. Also, contact the nearest Hunter dealer and try to find a rigger that is familiar with the Hunter B&R system. Mast rake, prebend, mast height may be different between the two systems, all of which will affect the mainsail performance. Good luck, the h29.5 is great boat.Monty

How many spreaders

The 29.5 came with single spreaders or double speaders. Next time I see my "old" boat I will try to take notes and make copies of the Isomat configuration.Be sure you name and boat are listed on the Owners Directory so you can be contacted

Mast replacement

As suggested, I ordered the Hunter owner’s manual for the 29.5 directly from Hunter and it just got here. I could not believe they would have it available. Hopefully I will find my answers in there. If not, I may need to request some pictures from you later. I also found someone familliar with B&R rigging for Hunter to help me set it up.Many thanks Mario
