Leaking overhead, recaulked the ports, but it is still raining. Is there a way to get at the handrail bases (wooden) from inside, through the liner (headliner)? I think it is comming through the handrail bases... The only other thing that could allow water in is the wooden trim above the ports...anyone have to deal with this problem?

leaks

Before you go to that much trouble, try a few other things. Have you sealed the teak lately. I had a problem with teak toe rails leaking. I cleaned the teak and sealed. Then I ran a bead of Capt tolleys Crack cure around the edge where teak meets the deck. One or the other (or both) solved the problem. Bob

Not from the inside

If you try to seal these from the inside you are going to cause more problems than you have now.You can caulk and seal from the inside, and stop the water from leaking into the boat. But you still have a leak on the outside, and guess where this water is going. Into the core of course, which will eventually cause major problems with delamination, and then to a soft deck. Caulking from the inside does nothing more than mask the origional problem, and lead to bigger problems later on.
