I have a 1985 Catalina 27. The head has an oval sink which I have polished back to looking like new. The problem I'm having is the drain assembly is very pitted and rusted and needs to be replaced. A typical sink drain has a flange about 1/2" wide that fits the inside of the sink. The drain for my oval sink only has a flange that is about 1/8". I have checked all the local plumbing and hardware stores as well as West Marine. The threads on the bottom of the drain are 1 1/2" and have a fitting (looks kinda home-made) that will accept a 1/2 hose held on be a clamp. The diameter of the top of the sink drain flange is 2 1/8". The galley drain is standard and was easy to find and replace. Can you help???????? Ken Johnson S/V Spanish Eyes #6049

Try contacting Catalina

Have you tried contacting Catalina? They should have a record of the product and possibly get it from them.

Home Depot.

Try Home Depot. They have a direct replacement for the sink on our H'31 (also oval). The price for the sink was about $50. They should be able to supply other parts for it too.
