I have a new to me, 2010, 6 hp Tohatsu outboard. It has been used in salt water. The zinc appears to be about 1/2 gone. The bolt came out fine but the zinc is stuck. It appears to be attached to the aluminum casing through corrosion. I have soaked it with wd40 and liquid wrench, tapped it with a punch to try and break it loose.

The zinc is a rectangular, about 1/4" thick (1/8" now) and 1/2" by 3/4", it is sort of counter sunk into the outboard leg. Any easy solutions/tips I have not considered ? heat ?

thanks, Bob
