outboard storage for dinghy?

where do you guys store your outboard motors? On the rail? Anoyone use the deep locker in the port corner?

I am looking for ideas / suggestions. Pics would be great if you have them.'

We put our 5HP on the rail, the bracket is also a handy place to fit the bottle opener ..
