mounting your outboard
Without actually looking at a picture of your stern rail, I will tell you how I did mine. My 336 has "catbird" seats and a swim bridge so I didnt have any "t rails" for the west marine mount. So.... I bought the plastic one from them anyway and went to my local canvas tube maker and had him make me a section of tube with the "alligator" attachment on the bottom (it has two halves so you dont have to slide it on your stainless). I was able to create a "t" for the bottom hole in the west mount. Put it between the catbird seat and the opening to swim bridge. Total cost about 70 bucks and it looks professional. And by turning the motor sideways when mounted, it doesnt intrude into the cockpit. Sorry I dont have a pic but could get one if you need.Ricks/v Whiskey Chaser
