Outboard Motor Mount Recommendation

I want to replace the outboard motor mount on our MacGregor 21
The outboard is a Mercury 4hp 4-stoke long staff. I've seen a motor mount
which lifted the motor vertically -but have not found any like this... Are spring loaded mounts like Garelick #71090 worth the motor? any suggestions? where to purchase?

When I had an 8-hp, 2-stroke Evinrude on a long-ago boat, the Garelick motor mount raised and lowered that 60+lb engine with ease. I like Garelick products and think they have a good bracket selector on their website. See http://www.garelick.com/obmb.html

Garelick makes a great motor bracket, but they are too expensive. Rudy at D&R Marine sells a heavy duty motor bracket for less money, that will handle your engine. Give him a call. http://www.drmarine.com/
