Here in Ontario (Canada), I've found that Shell states on the puimp that their premium, highest octane gas is ethanol-free, so that's what I've been using on our 5 HP Suzuki 2-stroke. 3 seasons, no problems...
Since water vapor and oxygen are the agents that cause gasoline to spoil would a desiccant cartridge on the vent and a CO2 fill preserve the gasoline beyond the normal month or six weeks? Or would we be better served with an air tight container with room for expansion stored in a cool place?
