I have a 5-horse Nissan with an internal tank. It has developed a pin hole leak in the front wall of the tank. (I thought I was using more fuel than before!) Seems like an odd place; there are no seams or fittings there, just flat metal. My question is, has anyone else here dealt with this and knows a good way to patch it, or am I stuck taking it into a repair shop? I might just have to get a new tank from Nissan. I'm all for doing it yourself, but with a fuel-related item I might be inclined to let a pro deal with this. I don't want to find out how effective my fire extinguisher is.
