I'm struggling with the current layout of the dinghy davits, motor hoist, and motor mount on the pathetically limited rail space on our H410 given the fiberglass arch. I've got plans to raised the davit height by having a local welder extend the vertical legs 8-9” but I'm afraid this may only complicate the issues I have hoisting the engine onto the rail mount. I was wondering what others have come up with.

Carry it on your dinghy on davits like I did on my Hunter 386 or replace the motor with a low profile Torqeedo and install it on the "limited" stern rail like I have on my Hunter 46?
