Mates: I'm about to leave on a short vacation with my "land yacht". I'll be gone under 2 weeks but the forum will still be open. The resident experts like Alan and Rich H and a bunch of other great sailors will be conducting business. Normally I keep in contact through WiFi but there ain't no WiFi where I'm going. I'll be as far from sailing as you can get, which is deep into the jeep trails of Moab, UT and then into the Prescott/Sedona/Flagstaff area of AZ. We'll also plan on some horse back adventures. I'm equally at home on a heeling deck or the back of a horse. Sometimes I wonder which I like better - it just depends on what I'm doing at the time but I always wanted to be cowboy. Cowboys, sailors and RV'er are the kind of folks I prefer to hang out with. You hardley ever meet one you don't like as they are just down to earth folks or common seaman.
