Run away diesel
Some years ago my Yanmar YSM12 on Bayfield 29 , out of control,white smoke,turned off fuel.
engine stopped,sailed to dock,next day checked engine,no problems found,started engine ran OK for 5-6 years until sold. Someone said the governor failed to control rpm.
