My outhaul line has been pulled through the blocks and almost completely through the boom. i do not seem to be able to push the line through the boom from the end. How does this line rethread?

Same thing happened to me...I went to harbor freight...bought some cable "fish" rods. Package contained around 10 or so approx 3 foot long rods that screw together...commonly used to "fish" lines through walls...or booms. Worked great. Traditional "fish" line is on a reel...I tried that first and did not work well. When you get your line back through...tie a stopper knot in the end. Good luck.

Back in line

Thanks! After taking the end of the boom off, I used a 25' fish wire and attached a 5 foot fish stick with duct tape. ahhhhh....

On my 323, the boom cap did not require to be removed. I was lucky. Regardless...glad this worked for you.
