Catfish Falls, Lake Billy Chinook.... there are lots of catfish in the creek above, and they are constantly coming over the falls. its a bit dangerous to be below, but it is a nice place to literally "pick up" a few fresh, live catfish for dinner...

bonneville salt flats in the spring... flooded. it looks icy and cold, but its not....

setting sun.. south of cannon beach oregon.... i could honestly tell you its a picture of haystack rock for all the good it would do, but all the large, tall rocks that can easily be photographed by tourists from a wayside here, are named haystack rock.... no one travels thru oregon on hwy 101 without seeing haystack rock, either on their entry to the state or on their exit... or maybe one of the haystacks in between the two points...
