does not include the thermometer. You can get an oven thermometer at Home Depot or at your supermarket chain for $5-$6. These thermometers usually sit at the bottom tray or hang from the grill inside the oven. All it does is to allow you to read the inside temperature through the glass door. Save yourself time and money by buying one of these instead of ordering from Sweeden, if you must have one. We learned to set the oven temperature by the marks on the control knob and the type of food we are cooking. If we had a thermometer we probably would not know what to do with it except look at it.

Thanks to everyone for your responses. You all were exactly right I did not want to spend $60 USD from Origo and I did not want one that read in degrees C ( Galley winch and first mate would not like that).
