Did you do anything with the glass? I've not found a replacment door which needs work, but about to do the same thing with mine this weekend.
The glass was still in great condition so I did not touch it but as Steve says it is still available from Origo. Several Origo parts distributors also showing up on Google. Good luck

If you did find an Origo used combo stove/oven, I removed mine, stripped the ugly and damaged beige paint off, lightly sanded the stainless sides and front, and repainted using high heat black fireplace paint. People thought I had bought a new unit ! I love the Origo and have lived on the boat for up to a 9 month's cruise. Here are a few pictures of before, during and after clean-up job. The canisters were in perfect shape and I am still using them. Good luck
Nice job Claude. I think you've just just managed to add the first thing to my work list for next winter. <GRIN>

Origo Stove/Oven

The guy working on the boat next to mine just pulled his Origo stove and oven to install air conditioner. He is keeping the stove but will be selling the oven. I just installed a propane stove/oven and have the Origo stove that simply bolts to the oven. I am sure you could buy them both...mate them together (he simply unbolted the stove from the oven) and have a complete unit that meets your needs for well below the $ 1,500.000 of a new stove/oven.

Send me a PM is you are intrested. I have already talked to him about putting our two "halves" together and selling one unit. He seems OK with that idea.

Thanks Matt. I live in the West Island and keep the boat at Club Nautique Deux-Montagnes. Went to the boat today for 1st time since last November. No bad surprise ! Looking forward to this season. Maybe we'll see you on the water.

Hi all, I'm in the process of sourcing a new stove/oven for my H34. The one of the previous owners removed the original unit which I believe was alcohol since there is no plumbing for CNG or Propane. Any input (pros and cons) for non pressurized alcohol units appreciated. I don't want to go through the hassle of a propane locker, etc., hence my question.
Hi guy -
I just pulled out my Origo 6000 out of my boat and would like to sell it. replacing it with a propane system. PM me and I can send you photos if your interested.
thanks

Like most people I have the Origo on my H34 and like it, very simple and nothing can leak. Only downside is the possible difficulty of finding proper fuel in other country...

Like Claude I have stripped mine and updated his look by wire-brushing the stainless and some hi-temp black paint, just like new!

no luck on glass

I've got an email into Dometic's US office, we'll see if they answer. I saw lots of parts places on the net, none of them with doors/glass.
I called dometic, who appear to be either the manufacturer or upper level distributor. They referred me to Annapolis Cruisair as the local distributor, who then called dometic, and told me that there's no glass available.

Guess I'll see if I can get two glass door inserts made locally.

Re: no luck on glass

You may have some luck with companies that specialize in oven or wood stove glass replacement. I did a quick search on "Stove door replacement glass" and came up with few hits in my area.

Thanks, I called my local glass company (had them make the replacement mirrors for the boat) and she said they had some 1/4" thick glass they use on wood stoves. That should be it, she's calling back tonight or tomorrow to confirm.

Guillaume...

That don't look like no standard H34 galley to me. More pix on the mod--inquiring minds want to know....
