Original Parts

Hi everyone.

I am in the proces of buying a 1985 C & C Mark V sailboat in very good conditions but she still needs some work to bring her up to date.

Where can I buy new original parts for this sailboat? Does the factory still sell parts for a boat this age?

C&C Original Parts

Boats built by C&C in 1985 were made in Canada by the original company. That company is out of business and most of the original moulds were destroyed in a fire. Some parts are available through South Shore Yachts. Like most boat builder both past and present, C&C did not manufacturer their own hardware so finding replacements would be easier. What do you need? On some of the C&C models, they had their own mast and boom sections. Which model did you buy? I would guess it is the 27.

Thank you Ted. I am still putting together a list of the stuff I am planning to replace after I am finished with the major stuff such as paint job, new sails, etc.

Yes she is a 27' Mark V.

Yes Sir. Very helpful for other stuff but it will not guide me to any parts wholesaler or dealer-store.
