84' Original Instrument Panel Wiring Diagram?

Good Evening Everyone -

I'm in need of the wiring diagram of the original instrument panel. I have 12 volts coming in, but thats it. Nothing seems to work, alarm doesnt sound, glow plug doesn't work, and the engine won't even turn over.

All was working before winter storage... Am I missing something, did I forget how to run this boat?

1984 Catalina 30

Thanks again.

Looks like no one else responded, but check out the International Catalina 30 pages and the C 34 website has a lot of good information. If you want copies of the original spec. drawings U can contact Kent at Catalina who is very helpful. I wonder why they just don't post the entire spec. drawings for the systems on their website. But have you looked closely at what your actual battery level is reading? At just 12 volts even your batteries are actually very low. Anything under 12.3 volts may not even turn over your starter motor. If your boat has been sitting over winter without a charger on, the batteries may be nearly dead. Use a multimeter & check the voltage at the battery terminals, then at your main battery switch, then at the starter key switch. If you have adequate juice at the battery, then you probably have voltage loss due to corrosion somewhere in the starter circuit. It's unusual for nothing to work at the engine panel, unless its not getting any power. Starter solenoids can sometimes fail to engage the starter due to corrosion, but it sounds like U have a voltage problem. A quick fix can be to hook up a battery charger - with a starting boost output. I keep a lil' Shoemacker 50 Amp boost starter around, but this will only work with shore power of course. Once the engine starts the alternator should charge the battery. But if its been drawn too low for too long the battery may not recover. Good luck.

Behind the panel, if you go up in the port lazzarette, look for the "trailer" connector that ties in the panel harness to the boat wiring harness. It could be loose; and it's something that needs to be inspected and upgraded at some point anyway. It is possible through contortion to remove the panel from the front; but the screws holding it are machine screws with nuts on the back that you need to get a hold of and not lose.

Thanks to everyone's response. I haven't had a change to troubleshoot yet, the weather hasn't been cooperating. The batteries were pulled for winter storage and charged fully before putting them back in. I just need to get in there and check levels at the panel. As soon as I find the issue, I'll post it. Thanks again.
