Charlie:There were 2 different 25's built in that era. The first 25 was a slope cabin model and the later ones had the trunk cabin (like most of the Cherubini's).The trunk cabin vessels had very light gray non-skid and the stripes under the toe rail were gray to black stripes. The boot stripe was also black. Most every Cherubini looked the same and there are still many of them out there showing their original colors.
Hard to tell really. Was repainted at some point in a light blue. I was'nt sure if the gray was a nonskid or primer maybe.I have the sloped foredeck model, the better of the 2 I thought all the 74 had the sloped deck, late 75 the raised cabin becam an option? Thanks, Charlie
cabin had for headroom, but mine has 5'2" from the compaionway almost to the main bulkhead. When rehabbing the boat I put new sole stringers in and a new sole. I measured and fretted with the stringers positioning and size for a few days to get that headroom. And all for the best of reasons. My wife is 5'1" tall. The absolute best I could do and still have a reasonably level sole was 5'2". So she can stand in the cabin with all hatches closed.I think oiginally it was about 4'8" or so? Can't realy say because the sole was rotted away when I got the boat. Maybe JC or someone that has an early 25 can measure for ya.As for me, I have sitting headroom. Charlie
