Greetings, My significant other and I will be flying to Oriental on November 10 and staying for 3 days. I was wondering if anyone reading this forum would be willing to share a couple of hours sailing with us. Kathy will think I have a lot of nerve posting this but what the heck. Anyway, we sail a Hunter 36 up in Boston, have never been to Oriental, and would love to spend a few hours on the water. Kathy and I are in our 50's and checking out some retirement spots. The Bean

Paul I will be out of the country that week, but if you don't get any offers go to a coffee shop called The Bean on Hodges St. It is on the harbour at the Town Dock. The gang gathers from 7 to 8:30 am every morning. You can probably pick up a ride there. To see the Town Dock and The Bean (left side of the field of view) go to www.towndock.net, and click on the Harbour Cam. We Love Oriental

I'd suggest The Bean too... There might be someone at The Towndock that would be willing to take you. Normally we walk the new docks looking to meet new people. Oriental is a Great place to do nothing. I'm sure you've found towndock.net ? Mike

You will find a ride in oriental. Just make a sign and wander around town. Offers will poor in.
