Too much stuff
Jim: I have hull # 118 and after delivery in April and the beginning of the "moving in" process, my first mate (or Admiral depending on the day of the week) said "our Catalina 22 has more space". I think she was correct. There is a lot of storage space on the 310 that you can't get to. We have spend a fair amount of time moving stuff around and seem to have everything we need stored someplace where we can get at it. We have not used the under berth storage at all.We use both v-berth lockers for clothes in the hanging one and shoes and foul weather boots in the other. We have the v-berth drawers also filled with clothes. The lockers in the main cabin have beach towels, tools, fans, heater, and foul weather gear. We use the oven, and the two galley lockers (microwave in 3rd locker) plus the dry well for cooking stuff and food. Larger trays and plates go in the starboard book shelf which is also full. The port book shelf holds log book and other manuals. The small port cabinet has glasses and a few bottles of wine
