I posted the following over on the Mac Forum, but thought that since all boats have cabin cushions that wear out maybe someone over here might benefit from this mod so.....
=============================
A while back a thread came up on options to cover cabin cushions. I wanted to post a possible solution, but at the time hadn't posted about the covers Ruth made for our boat. I finally got that mod up today even though it was done before we left for Florida.
Above are the covers that Ruth made. Actually we just recovered the tops of the original ones as a quick solution to get us off and on our trip. This was fast and pretty easy to do as we didn't have to make covers from scratch.
We still plan on making new covers from scratch as we aren't happy with the color of these. The fabric is of good quality, from sailrite, but we feel they give the boat too 'cool' of an appearance inside the cabin. When we finally get the boat back home we will look for some material that has a 'warmer' feel to it.
Anyway here is a link to the mod.....

...hope that it maybe helps someone.
