My boat has 3 Deka Gel 8D batteries with a total ampere rating @ 20 hours of 675. Deka states "charge to at least 13.8v, but no more than 14.6v @77 degrees" . Both my Magnum charger and Balmar 614 (Balmar AT-165 Alternator) have battery temperature sensors attached. I would appreciate suggestions as to the optimal voltage and time settings for bulk, absorption and float. Presently both devices are set to the "gel" setting, but the two have completely different voltage settings in their stock programs. I can custom set the programs on each. Am I correct in thinking that the programs should be the same?
