I moved up from a C-22 fin keel that we raced alot. So I'm coming from a performance standpoint. We purchased this fall a 1982 with trailer and 9.9 Yamaha fourstroke for $6500. I sold the motor for $1100. The boat came with 4 sails all made by UK and all made in 82. I would class the sails as useble but you are not going to win any races. Our boat had leaks at cockpit scuppers and all the deck hardware had to be rebedded. But the boat is now dry. The cockpit is huge. The traveler makes it hard to single hand. It's a great light air boat but doesn't do as well in chop because of it's beam. 4-5 peaple are needed to keep boat flat in a breeze. The keel can stall in heavier air because of it's fine entry. I plan on fairing the foward 30 percent this winter. There is no wood in the core as the whole boat is cored with Coremat. Our boat came with the stock set up with #7 winches on cabin and #16's for sheet winches. If you have any other questions let me know. Gary
