I completed it. Overall I am very happy with West Marine. I did have a recent bad experience with an associate that did not know the stock and gave me bad information that they did not have a repair below water putty when they in fact did. I showed it to him at check out. I do not know is a better answer than saying you do not have it because you do not know your stock. I love that I can bring my cell phone and show them an online price and they match it.

I have used them extensively years ago when we cruised and was very satisfied at that time. The online stores were just starting at that time. I have found that many stores have a limited stock of sailboat hardware and now cater to the powerboat group.
I do know that the WM catalog is a very sought out item and probably the best hands-on catalog in the industry.

I only shop at WM if I have no other choice. Same for the other WM

For online I shop here first . . .

then Catalina Direct, Defender, then WM. Brick and mortar Columbia Marine Exchange, Englund & WM depending on where I'll be. None of them are close by so it really depends on the Admiral's mood.
