Sorry, Peggie. I apologize for spelling your name wrong in my last post. Seems that since my wife's name is Peggy, and her best friend is also Peggy, I must have been on autopilot when I posted my message.

Best regards

George

Don't worry about it George...my mother never got it right either. :)

My legal name is Margaret...Peggy/Peggie is the nickname I've been called since birth...and it was spelled with a Y until I started learning to write instead of print in the 2nd or 3rd grade...I couldn't make the tails on two g's and a y look like anything but a mess. In those days, teachers used phonics to teach reading...so I knew that Y and IE at the end of a word have the same sound...so I tried it...liked it...and have been spelling it with an IE ever since. My mom, otoh, wasn't that flexible...she persisted in spelling it with a Y till the day she died...though she did try to sidestep the whole issue by beginning her letters to me "Dear Stinky..."

So spell it any way you like!

LOL... I thought it might have to do with your marine sanitation career... :)

Out of the doghouse!

Glad I'm not in the Doghouse, Peggie!

Did you get a chance to see my post on Holding Tank Maintenance last week? I'm wondering about the effectiveness of Calgon Water Softener when the boat goes into the storage mode.
Thanks.

I don't think it would sell. It's a good thing you didn't go with your grandmother's nickname for you.

Oops for sure.

I don't know, I kind of like Stinky. Now that the cat's out of the bag, that could stick here. ;)
