Does anyone have a pointer to a really good online reference for boat electrics, in particular, charging systems and batteries? Thanks, jv

Google Don Casey and Nigel Calder

you could also buy a book or two ;) Bill's right, WM advisors are superb. Also try Assoc websites, here's ours, look down the index for electrical stuff, extremely good stuff here. http://www.c34.org/projects/projects.html Try other websites, like BoatUS, too. There's a tremendous amount of information out there, and Google will get you there faster than any of us can.

There's several informative threads and dissertations at the cruisersforum. In particular, look for anything written by Rick

It'd be hard to find CALder

as compared to CLAder. C'mon, we ain't the spell police, but help to help others by checking before and after posting. If the ? -- er was using that for Googl--ing, they'd never find anything. jviss -- hope you're enjoying the reading. Thanks, Stu

You know Stu,

Google might work with mis-spellings. Have you ever done a search and gotten a response at the top of the list that asked if you meant (????). They check spelling against their data base.
