One day WM sail on boxed docklines

This is not an April Fools joke. The weekly Friday sale today at West Marine is all pre-spliced boxed double-braid docklines are on sale at 40% off.

If you prefer 3-strand, I did run across a red, white and blue 3-strand nylon, 1/2 inch by 25 feet, for $7.99. Live chat with a company spokesman said they had about 200 of those lines, which are (mostly) unavailable in stores (my local two stores had one copy in each store). Still, not a bad price for 25 feet of 1/2 line, prespliced at one end, if you are willing to wait for them to arrive.

Yeah, some items go fast. The red white and blue lines I wrote about last year went pretty fast, but they were priced really low. You may want to call them though. I decided to order two more of the RWB lines after the original order. Website said "out of stock", but the folks on the phone found some in a store and had them sent to my local store. Say what you will about WM prices, but I find the folks really helpful.
