RODGER...here's the FACTS...

Im new to the MAC26, and as you, I WAS CONCERNED about the loading, unloading, raising mast, size, etc. DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE of overlooking this boat for EASE in all the ABOVE FEATURES. I suggest, visit a MARINA, watch a few families as I DID, load, unload, raise the mast, etc. I WAS AMAZED how easy--not even to mention SAFETY (YOU CANT SINK IT). I remember attending a BOAT SHOW in HOUSTON...seeing the MacX "TALL MAST", and saying..."TOO MUCH BOAT" (BUT Ive LEARNED otherwise--Just Right). Happy Sailing !

Rodger Oday, etc., "I forgot to mention..."

You refer to camping in one of your posts...and my former boat, 1992 Mac26S, and my present boat, 1999 Mac26X, both accomodated us well. We've even camped with friends with their TRAVEL TRAILERS on one occasion, and hooked up at the campgrounds with the TRAVEL TRAILERS...worked GREAT ! Didnt even put the boat in the LAKE with all the SHORE FUN !! 1. nice camper, 2. nice sailor, 3. nice boat.
