Aloha to all Beneteau owners My wife and I are in the process of purchaseing a new boat, our last boat was a bene38 so yes we have the bug. In our hunt are considering a 44 centercockpit, we really like the interior layout since we are planning on being there for a while. I am really surprise at just how few centercock beneteau boats there are on the west coast and the northwest so it has been difficult getting any first hand information from owners. and why there seem to be so few boats. We are planning on crusing the hawaiian waters and remaining in the area for a long while. hawaii has some big water, swells, steady trades and and it kicks up to some big action between the channels, lacking experience sailing this area i hope you can see my concern. so if there is anyonwe out there that has any comments on the 44cc's please let me know. mahalo & aloha, jim bettib57@aol.com
