Sounds vaguely familiar…. I sort of resemble that remark.

Wife says the same thing every time I hike up the mast on my ascenders, when I head out for a sail when there is a small craft advisory, when I race my convertible around the round-a-bout and accelerate hard out of the turn, or when I go up on the roof to check the gutters.

60 years ago I was stuck for a half hour on a ski lift with a patroller who was a doctor. He pointed out all the places on the mountain men had died of heart attacks. "All old men?" I asked. No, explained. All guys in their forties who thought they were 20.
To everything there is a season.

Yeah, my 25 year old mind drags my 70YO body out to places it shouldn't go. And the next day the body has revenge on my mind.

I made the decision to not get any older a long time ago. Time will tell if it's working or not...

The Admiral has me on a short leash right now. I had a heart attack while in New Orleans on October 16th. 100% blockage on one of my old bypasses (28 years ago) but locally they are saying "live with it." I've got an appointment at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL this month. Hoping they can do something about it. I'm 74. Boat is on the mooring "in layup" while I am waiting for an answer if they can do anything for me.
