The first 25 was designed by Robert Seidelman along with some help from his good sailing buddy John Cherubini. Seidelman, seeing the success of his 25 went off to start his own company that eventualyy went beely up. John, however stayed with Hunter from the beginning until around 1983 when his health began to fail and he eventually passed away. The Seidelman 25 has a different deck layout than "most" of the Cherubini Hunters except the 77 & 78 33. The deck layout looks a little like the Seidelman 25 but this boat was designed by John Cherubini. In 1977 Hunter marine called it a John Cherubini "Masterpiece". Although some headroom was sacrificed, the older 33 are one sleek "racey" looking boat with the same cabin layout as all the rest of the Cherubini Hunter 33s. I'd love to hear from other owners of these unique, rare early H-33s.Don Bodemann soon to be owner of a ....you guessed it..a 1977 H-33!!!
