I have an older (1975 I think) 25. It's keel was modified by the original owner I'm #3. It is now a LONG fin and I want to go back to the shoal keel. BUT I rally need the measuements. Make a mold?
I have an old 25 but its now in the water so I can't hel with measurements. THe keel is of an external lead type (i.e., no glass or gel coat). Perhap you could find the same boat out of the water and get permission to make a mold or patterns. the shape is probaly to complex to accurately reproduce from simple measurements. Also, to you have access to a foundry to fabricate the keel. On second thought, probably will be cheaper to buy another old hunter with the original keel. Also, are you sure the keel isn't original? I think they made two versions. My boat is a fin keel.
