Old sailors and new sailors

Got a chance this weekend to give my 73 year old uncle another chance to have a tiller in his hand. He's not been on a sailboat since his wife got sick 20 years ago.



Then later that same weekend I introduced my nephew to the sickness!



All and all a great Independence day weekend!

Dad our best helmsman

My Dad Jack was our best helmsman though his mid 80's.

He loved helming Lady Lillie with his three sons as rail-meat, heading home to Sandusky in a good southwester!
