Get guts I need some help. I believe the device in blue in the photo is my oil pressure sender and the wire that is connected to it goes to my instrument panel for the low pressure alarm lights and the alarm. My problem is the electrical connection to the top has broken off. It’s a male spade connection and the wire has the female. I need to get a replacement but looking up oil pressure sender on Catalina direct doesn’t show me a sender that looks exactly like this. Is there a reasonable replacement? Thanks for all the help.

The blue unit is the OIL PRESSURE SWITCH which lights the low oil lamp and sounds the alarm. Search for switch instead of sender and you'll find them.
The silver unit is an OIL PRESSURE SENDER which connects to an oil pressure gauge.
Depending on the engine you should be able to get an oil pressure switch at an automobile supply shop or online.

Here is the oil pressure switch that I replaced for Universal M35B. It is from an auto store, normally open contacts. Contacts close at a pressure above 7 PSI. When the oil pressure drops the contacts open, this is when the ignition switch is turned one click before pressing the start button.
With the info in the post above, take your broken sender unit with you to the auto parts store to ensure the thread pattern is the same.

Thanks guys. My switch only has one electrical connection and yours have two. Is it safe to say that my circuit incudes the body of the switch as the ground path and yours is fully insulated with one of the connections being the ground?
