I have a fair amount of oil leaking out of what appears to be the #3 rocker arm support where the oil line enters the valve cover. My manual indicates it should be fixed, but nothing further than that. From what I can tell, if I lift the valve cover the entire assembly should come up with it, if I have loosened the oil feed line from it's source. What is involved in repairing the fitting itself?

After realizing I may have to pull the exhaust manifold to get to the banjo fittings I started scraping off some of the rust on the oil tube to determine where the leak was. The leak then turned into a spurt. Not having the time to pull and replace the entire assemble, I got the worst of the rust off, sprayed with brake cleaner and liberally coated with J&B weld. The next morning I checked to make sure it had hardened, started the engine and all is well! Certainly not the repair a pro would recommend, but it will be fine until some future date when I can replace the entire assembly.
