Changing the oil filter on my H450 with a 4JH2 Yanmar engine was always a very frustrating ordeal. The filter is mounted horizontal in a very tight spot. When the filter was unscrewed, all the oil from the filter drained into the pan under the engine. I tried a plastic bag over the filter, but as the oil coated the inside of the bag, the filter could not be turned. I have now solved the problem by installing a remote oil filter kit. I obtained it from Lofa Industries, Inc. out of Atlanta. Their phone number is 770-569-9828. The cost was just over $100 and is well worth it.
