Before I installed my Yanmar 3GH30F I pulled the oil pan and drilled and tapped for 3/8" pipe thread. There is a cast boss there that I assume had to be there for that purpose. I put in a close nipple, and a ball valve that point down, then a hose barb at a 90 degree angle facing forward. To that is attached clear vinyl hose which runs forward almost horizontal to another 90 degree which runs an open ended hose up in front of the engine. It stops at about water pump level, well above the oil level in the engine. I have a little pistol grip, hand held electric positive displacement pump which I have seen available from J. C. Whitney for about $25.00. I stick the metal pick-up tube in the vinyl hose, open the valve below the oil pan, and turn on the oil pump which is connected to the battery right there. I pump into 2 liter Coca Cola bottles. Our municipal recycle accepts drain oil in plastic containers with no problem. I assume they recycle the container also. I have no worry about cramming some sort of pan into the non-existant space below the engine. I know you have jusat as little space because your Seidleman was designed by the same guys that designed my Hunter. I can honestly say that despite the fact that I am a basiclaya slob In better than 10 years I have not spilled more than 3 drops of drain oil. The pump-out process takes less than 5 minutes and I get every drop of oil that can possibly be gotten out of that engine.
Whitney currently shows a small electric oil pump (look for 12volt Oil Change Pump) for $25.99
