I recently purchased a 1999 C30 with Universal 25. I moved up from an outboard boat. So this is my first diesel. I want to change the oil. The manual look like it should be no problem except it doesn't say how much oil it takes or what type. I know this is a rookie question but it would be really helpful to know. Thanks Dan

M25 Oil Change
Dan Figure on four bottles. Get as much or all of the old oil out first, and replace the filter. Put in three bottles, let it sit for a while, and check the level. Use the last bottle to top it off. You can run it for a bit after the first three. Don't overfill. Stu

Universal 25 oil
Use 30W oil that is rated for diesel engines. I assume that you already have acquired a small engine oil removal pump. We connect ours to a hose that comes off the bottom of the engine. Chuck
