Oh No Snow

I guess snow is no big deal to a lot of people herebut the the moving truck left late yesterday and we wereplanning to leave early this morning for sunny warm Florida.One more day won't kill us but we were thinking sunny warm weather,old man winter has different plans for us and hoping we can get out of town tomorrow morning.All our winter things are gone and I was really looking to my shortsand tee shirts,OK I will be heading south tomorrow and will need roadand weather reports from you southern sailors in NJ,Maryland,Virginia,NC.Nick

Ski In Shorts

Many years ago I did ski in Shorts and Tee Shirt at Killington,I think they called it Spring Fest,it was really warm out and the snow was melting so fast we could have water ski in the afternoon.The best part was the girls sking in March in Bikini's at Killington,I do have photo's but they are packed away,it was called being youngwild crazy and single.Nick

Skiing in Shorts is Heavenly

A few years ago I took a ski trip to Lake Tahoe in mid-March. $2.00 craps tables by night and fresh powder at Heavenly Mountain during the day. On St. Patty's Day I was skiing back & forth across the California/Nevada state line wearing shorts, a tank top and gators. Working on the tan, girls in bikinis, skis, it was great! Right up until my buddies 'pantsed me' as I was waiting on a lift line.
