Too late, we are already referred to as systems. Better not to be referred to as food.Funny that these marine scientists call life in the oceans “Systems”. I hope we aren’t labeled the same way by sociologists.
Is that what “SNAFU” applies to?Too late, we are already referred to as systems.
Family systems, social systems, organizational systems, political systems, yep pretty much.Is that what the term “system normal all
€¥*#ed up” applies to?
Around 30 lb. However, that was not a grouper. It was an Atlantic wreckfish. The text said the sailfish carcass was about 2.5 meters. The shark taken was a dogfish. Just a quick and dirty - what does a one meter grouper weigh?
I think the word system here refers to the trophic system, i.e., the “food chain.” In this case, a scavenging system where the fishes and other animals on the deep-sea floor receive a major part of their diet from consuming, i.e., scavenging, deadfalls from the surface and upper mid-waters. As opposed to an active predatory trophic “system.”Funny that these marine scientists call life in the oceans “Systems”. I hope we aren’t labeled the same way by sociologists.
