I recently obtained a Catlina Capri 18, 1991 vintage. So far so good. I am not happy with the mainsheet arrangement and was hoping someoine had a simple solution. On this boat the mainsheet control is afixed to the offset backstay. For obvious reasons I would like to change this set up to some form of control that is centerline mounted or traveler mounted.
I am sure I am not the only one that has an arrangement like this so,what are my options. Don't say buy a new boat. How can I make the main sheet control more functional?
