Your sentiments echo some aleady proffered. As much as I have enjoyed and learned from this forum and Albin owners; I have decided to purchase a 1978 Hunter 27, with Yanmar inboard diesel.
It will serve my purpose to discover just how much I want to sail, do some coastal cruising here in New England, and if all goes well, perhaps another day buy a real off shore cruiser.
