Our local newspaper reported the addition of the Susquehanna River buoy addition to this system. I have been playing with it and I think we will find it very helpful.

Hey Ross

We were out yesterday and saw the new addition to our sailing grounds. It seems like everyone cruised by it to take a closer look, including ourselves!
It's nice to be able to pull up that info before heading down for a sail.

Ross and Manny, Thanks for the info

The Admiral will like having another source of local information.

Where is this bouy located? Was out today and didn't see it. The website didn't give a location that I could find.

Thanks,
Noel

Noel, you can't miss it

It's near the Yacht club's race buoy out in the "middle" - south of the barge mooring. It's a very bright yellow buoy with a wind meter and some other instruments and an antenna. Size-wise it's a little smaller than a lit navigation buoy. Ross is right, you should be able to see it from the lighthouse if your looking across to Perryville.
